Matt is an expert in making the complex simple. For more than ten years, Matt has worked in the user-centered design field where he has defined the user experience for Web 2.0 applications, large corporate websites, and E-commerce sites. Matt has worked as a Visual Designer, Information Architect, Interaction Designer, and Usability Evangelist on projects for companies such as Microsoft, AT&T Wireless, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, General Mills, Zumiez, and Wetpaint. Matt is continually searching for innovative yet practical ways to create truly user-centered designs that work as well for businesses as they do for customers.
Mark's career is devoted to crafting websites that delight users and inspire them to take action. He has over 14 years experience in the fields of user experience design, interaction design, information architecture, and usability engineering. He has worked for the local UX consulting powerhouse, Blink Interactive, as well as the pioneering interactive agency, Sitewerks. Past work includes projects for Drugstore.com, Getty Images, Microsoft, MSN, National Geographic, Weyerhaeuser, and Zipcar. Mark’s work has received several awards including Netscape's Cool Site of the Day and Computer User's Editor's Choice. Mark’s projects have been featured in The Village Voice, The Seattle Times, and on Q13 Fox television.
Ryan started his career in Boston as a visual designer exploring interactive and user experience design. He served as the Creative Director for a financial services firm, leading a team of in-house designers to develop a cohesive communications program. Since coming to Seattle, he has helped companies like Allrecipes, Big Fish Games and Microsoft connect with users. Most recently, Ryan balanced design with business and technology goals while helping to define the product vision for two early stage startups: AdReady and Evri. Ryan has an unhealthy devotion to the Boston Red Sox.
Jeni is a talented multidisciplinary designer with deep experience in visual design and interaction design. Jeni has worked with firms such as Hornall Anderson and RocketDog in Seattle tackling everything from interface design for web applications to packaging design for gigantic consumer brands. A true User Experience Designer, Jeni is able to understand the impact of interaction design and visual design on end user experiences and use both disciplines to achieve the business results her clients demand. When she’s not designing, she’s skating in roller derby matches with the Rat City Roller Girls.
With more than ten years of experience in information architecture and interaction design, Matt has worked on a variety of websites, applications, global campaigns, games, and retail experiences. Matt is passionate about inciting and sustaining meaningful human connections that drive business success and positive change. Before joining Fell Swoop, Matt was an Experience Director at Ascentium where he worked with clients such as Microsoft, T-Mobile, Electronic Arts, PACCAR, Viking River Cruises, The Washington State Tourism Commission, and Del Monte Foods. In his off hours, Matt teaches at the School of Visual Concepts.
