Design-thinking Workshop: Speed Up! UX Design for an Impatient World

I’m excited to have an opportunity to get involved with IxDA Seattle and participate in their Design Thinking Workshop series this September 6th.

I’ll be conducting a workshop at 10am on the 6th called Speed Up! UX Design for an Impatient World, here is a description of the event from ixdaseattle.org:

The high-tech industry of start ups and huge tech firms moves faster today than ever before. Agile software development methods were created to keep pace with business and now UX designers have created tools for designing apps, websites, and other digital products in a lean and efficient way.

One valuable tool that can help you keep pace – the rapid ideation workshop.

Matt’s workshop methodology enables teams of stakeholders to identify tactical design solutions for websites, apps, and software products in a matter of days instead of weeks or months. During this event Matt will introduce his methodology and walk you through a series of exercises that will prepare you to conduct your own.

Students, start up founders, product managers, marketers, and design enthusiasts are welcome.

I’m a huge believer in the power and efficiency of our rapid ideation workshop we call Clarity Lab. We’ve seen great results on projects for clients such as Epicurious, The New Yorker, Facebook, and PEOPLE Magazine. It’s not rocket science, but there are a few tricks to the trade, and I’m looking forward to sharing them with all who attend, especially those interested in working faster while maintaining high quality results.
