A shift from correcting to enhancing the way we run
Running shoe brands has typically focused on what’s wrong with a runner’s stride, providing shoes that correct their ‘defects.’ Brooks disrupts that idea with their Run Signature philosophy. In their view, there is nothing particularly wrong with how people run, they just need a shoe that’s designed to work with their natural running style. To help them better explain Stride Signature, we developed the line Run as you are to focus the campaign on the idea of a personal run experience.
Getting out in front with social media
We developed an innovative Instagram hack we called the Shoe Experience Matchmaker to seed the idea of a personal Run Signature and help people discover their own via a fun and interactive quiz.
A strong finish
We redesigned the landing Page to tell both sides of the Run Signature story. Runners can learn about the science behind Run Signature, or explore the four run experiences—the support the shoes offer—the science. and the runners experience—of the Run Signature story.
We also designed the Brooks Shoe Finder—an online tool to help runners narrow down the options and find a shoe that is a good match for their body mechanics and running goals.
